Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Apprentice or Finished Millwright

Is required for a packaging and equipment manufacturer located in Port Kells (North Surrey). This position  is available immediately. Four Day work week Monday to Thursday -10 hours per day Bevco is project driven therefore, you may be  required to work overtime if necessary.

You will perform the following key job requirements:

-Fabrication and assembly of conveyor and machinery. Installation of sprockets, bearings, chain drives, drive shafts, drive motors, conveyor chains and belts.  Machining of sprockets and shafts and keyways.

Qualifications depending on level of Apprentice or Finished Millwright:
-experience with sheet metal fabrication
-experience working with basic hand tools, brakes, shears, saws
-experience interpreting Technical drawings
-must be self directed, reliable and accountable
-must be a team player with the ability to work fast and meet estimated time      targets
-must have reliable transportation, safety boots and own hand tools
