Brian Fortier, Bevco’s President and CEO, was trained by his father and Bevco founder Fernie “Gus”
Fortier from a young age on how to fabricate machinery and manage factory productions. In 1981 Brian
began working at Bevco alongside Gus and in 2005, Brian and Donna Fortier (Brian’s wife) assumed
control of the company. He now has more than 35 years of experience with Bevco and is an expert in
the conveyor industry. Brian’s dedication to product quality and customer satisfaction has led Bevco
through its most successful years to date.
Murray Kendrick, Director of Sales & Marketing brings a history of professional sales, marketing and
executive management experience to BEVCO. Business ownership and years of executive management
in manufacturing environments. Effectively developed Award Winning domestic and export marketing
programs. Participant and advisor in foreign trade missions with “Canada Comfort Direct” & “BC
Trade”. Sandler Institute trained - Sales Professional.
B. Tyler Fortier, son of Brian Fortier, is a registered Professional Engineer with a Degree in Civil
Engineering with Distinction from UBC. As Bevco’s General Manager, Tyler brings a diverse range of
skills he developed while working for 13 years as a consultant in the building construction industry.
Tyler has experience in project management, planning, engineering design, drawing development, site
assessments, maintenance management, cost estimating, budget planning and client/government
relations. Tyler is committed to ongoing personal growth and development, to conveying satisfaction to
clients and to the legacy of Bevco.
Trevor Dobson is Bevco’s production manager and head service technician. He has 35+ years working in
the packaging and conveyor industry and has worked with Bevco for more than 20 years. Trevor is an
expert at optimizing conveyor lines to run smoothly and is known for his ability to find quick solutions to
conveyor related issues. Trevor’s work as Production Manager helps ensure Bevco products are
delivered on time every time.
Kevin Fortier began working at Bevco shortly after graduating from UBC/UNBC’s Enviromental
Engineering Program in May of 2015. He started out in the production shop where he learned how to
build Bevco conveyors from the ground up. Kevin now works in Bevco’s Engineering Department where
he helps draft and design conveyors, programs and operates Bevco’s CNC machinery and fiber laser, and
corresponds between production workers and the engineering staff. Kevin also runs Bevco’s safety and
new worker orientation program and is involved with marketing and website development for Bevco.
Jonathan Wiley graduated from Sheridan College as a Mechanical Engineering Technologist in 2006. He started his career with Bevco in 2007 after moving out West from Ontario. With over a decade of experience in the Conveying and Packaging industry, John is a key part of Bevco’s technical team as lead designer. His combination of proven work ethics, leadership skills and drive make him an invaluable resource to Bevco and its customers.
